Welcome to the first day of the online Bible study for Christmas Peace for Busy Moms!  I have prayed over you and this day for months, and I’m so excited to meet with you here.

Without a doubt you’ve already seen plenty of Christmas advertisements already.  You know busy December will be here so soon.  If your heart is at peace before the season begins, your body will have the strength, energy, and peace to move forward through the chaos.  That’s why I want to study peace with you here in November, before the full swing of the holiday season begins.  If we work to find peace now, we will be more prepared to share it with others who need it so desperately.  Let’s open the virtual pages of Christmas Peace for Busy Moms together and begin our search for peace in our hearts.

When You Need to Fight for Christmas Peace

Have you had to fight for peace at Christmas? If you struggle with extended family problems like me, peace may not come easily. But you can fight for it and serve as God’s ambassador of peace by applying His Word this Christmas.

When forces within and without conspired to seize peace from my busy Decembers, I put on the armor of God to bring peace back to my family’s Christmas celebrations.  It seems ironic to fight for peace, but I have learned from experience that peace always comes at a price, even in the very first Christmas (see Matthew 2).

In my past, broken families, conflict, and grief threatened to destroy the Prince of Peace’s birthday celebration.  But I have learned ways to fight for peace, and I’ve shared them in my book, Christmas Peace for Busy Moms.
