Saturday Sips is a short recollection of what I’ve learned this month. I’m following a format known as Share Four Somethings, and I hope it inspires your own reflections on what you’ve learned this March.
Something Loved
I absolutely loved connecting with Christian friends at the Spark Conference in Nashville. The fellowship was a sweet balm for my soul after my divorce became final early this month. Just what I needed to feel affirmed and loved. Here’s just one photo of me with my dear friend and roommate Alicia. You can see more photos HERE.
Something Gleaned
There are more than five stages of grief. More than the basic denial, anger, bargaining, sadness and acceptance stages. I gleaned this helpful information from this book. It’s good to know that I’m on the upswing of this learning curve this month.
Something Braved
I’m bravely fighting back in a fierce spiritual battle with praise instead of giving up. This battle triggers me several times per day. But my friend Tama told me that the devil runs from praise and the blood of Jesus, so that’s how I’m fighting back. You can read more about this fight HERE.
Something Achieved
