This book has transformed my life in many ways. I can think of no better resource for self-examination and good habit development.
Most Beautiful: Gracelaced
When I need a pick-me-up, I gain instant delight from page after page of gorgeous illustrations. The devotionals and prayer prompts are valuable too.

Holley Gerth is a talented wordsmith. I savored each and every one of her beautiful word pictures and humble slice-of-life stories. Full of powerful inspiration as well.
Funniest Book: Stolen Jesus
Her self-deprecating stories had me belly-laughing and crying. I also loved her beautiful, vulnerable heart on the pages.

I enjoyed this book for its surprisingly positive tone among many other doom-and-gloom cultural explanation books. Using the book of Daniel as the basis, Pastor Chris Hodges shows us how to apply biblical principles for cultural engagement.

If you love short stories, this is my top pick from 2017. Best of all, the stories are true and relevant for today’s hot button issues.
The Best of the Best: All Things New
Out of all the books I read in 2017, this is my #1 pick. It revolutionized my perspective on heaven and eternal life, and gave me more hope than I dared to grasp before. Highly recommended to anyone curious about what the Bible says about where we’re headed.
