Peaceful Cleanup: Day 24 OBS

Busy December has officially arrived, and we’re one day away from wrapping up this online Bible study.  It’s kind of funny to think about cleaning up when I’m still decorating, but if I plan ahead for a good cleanup attitude, I will gain peace in busy December.  I have purchased Sarah Mae’s book, Having a Martha Home the Mary Way, to learn better methods for containing clutter.  I can’t commit to cleaning up using her full method yet—that can wait for January.  Yet, I plan to take a few tips from the book, such as cleaning my kitchen clean daily and rewarding myself with a Christmas cookie (yay!) after hard work.

When I’m cleaning, I pass by my beautiful prints from Ruth Chou Simons in my home.  They remind me to pause for peace in my quest to restore order to my home.

I am blessed to introduce you to Ruth today in an interview.  Please visit her site to view her gorgeous artwork.

Peace at Church: Day 17 OBS

Welcome to Day 17 of the Christmas Peace for Busy Moms online Bible study! Today I have a special interview with my new friend Sarah Behan.  Sarah is a follower of Jesus Christ in the green islands of New Zealand. She is married to Tim, a carpenter, and has two little ones: Josiah {3.5} and Rosalie {2}.

Sarah loves God and growing in her relationship with Him. She loves making her house a home, creating a quiet but rich life for her children, watching TV series and creating memories with her husband, and writing out all the thoughts that run through her head on her blog, The Life of This Mother. Oh, and she loves tea and all things floral.

Peace in My Friendships: Day 14 OBS

Welcome to Day 14 of the Christmas Peace for Busy Moms online Bible study!

Our friendships can bring us blessings in busy December. If we have problems with our family relationships, our friendships can bridge the gap even in a busy season. When we carve out time for friends, we will have greater peace to power us through our holiday season. Our Christian friends can strengthen our faith as we prepare to worship our Savior at Christmas.

Today I have a special interview with my blogging friend Nicole Kauffman. Nicole is a blogger, an aspiring author and a follower of Christ.  She lives in Lancaster, Pennsylvania with her amazing, God-seeking husband and family.  She loves to inspire, mentor, read and explore the beauty of God’s creation all around.  Visit her at couragehopelove.com or find her on social media (see links below)!
